Teens Unite Respite Home in Broxbourne

Teens Unite has come a long way since starting in Debbie’s front room back in 2007.

Our vision going forward is to open a specialist, purpose-built respite home that will give every young person with cancer access to a ‘home with a heart’. Keeping our personal, family ethos is an integral part of this plan.

In the meantime, we will continue to hold regular motivational days out which bring teenagers facing similar challenges together to share their experiences and gain strength from realising that they are not alone. As well as fun events we also try to organise opportunities for our teenagers to gain skills that will help to boost their CVs.

Being the only charity providing ongoing, long term support to teenagers wherever they are on their journey, going forward this is an area we wish to expand upon. In addition, we will continue to provide real hair systems for teenagers that feel it would make a big difference to their self confidence and self esteem.
