“Teens Unite is different because they treat every teen as an individual, letting them get involved in things that personally interest them.”

Corporate

There are many ways that we can work together with companies to form a mutually beneficial partnership and through this we can:

  • help to fulfil company Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives
  • encourage team working and boost staff morale through employee engagement
  • promote the company in the community
  • raise funds and awareness of Teens Unite
  • provide key opportunities to the young people supported by Teens Unite

Below are just a few of the many ways that a company can become involved with Teens Unite:

Make Teens Unite your ‘Charity of the Year’

Do you have a charity of the year partnership scheme?

We would be delighted if you would nominate Teens Unite to be the beneficiary charity and can support you through this process.

Sponsor a workshop, or activity for the young people

We run regular motivational workshops and activities where we bring young people together to learn new skills, regain their confidence and self-esteem, while building friendships with others their age and also battling illness.

We have a variety of sponsorship packages available for these workshops and activities that range from hospital workshop, go karting, beauty workshop, Positive Steps scheme, Go Ape. Our packages can also work as a great focus for staff fundraising targets.

We can also work with you to design bespoke activity days, should there be a particular interest to your company, or a specific team building need.

Sponsor a fundraising event

We have different levels of sponsorship packages available that support our fundraising events and provide promotional opportunities for your company.

Volunteering – spend your CSR days with Teens Unite

We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in a variety of roles, from support at our events and Teens days, to practical help at the respite home.

We can work with you to tailor volunteering opportunities to be undertaken individually, or as a team.

Provide work experience for the young people supported by Teens Unite

For many of the young people we support, they have needed to take time out of education, or have gaps in their CVs due to treatment, or ill health. Work experience opportunities can therefore prove invaluable when trying to re-gain confidence in a working environment, or in making decisions about career paths.

Take part in one of our events

We run a regular calendar of events which provide opportunities for work colleagues to come together as a team, such as competing against other teams at Teens Unite’s renowned It’s A Knockout annual event, or by taking part in a Golf Day.

Take on a challenge

Teens Unite run a regular calendar of challenges, including: British 10K London run; 13,000ft tandem skydive; overseas 350km cycle ride; £10 challenge.

Many of the challenges we run can be undertaken on an individual basis, or organised as a bespoke team building exercise, tailored to your company needs.

Teens Unite also receive a lot of support through independent challenges taken on e.g. Tough Mudder employee teams, London to Paris employee cycle challenge. For these challenges our fundraisers will receive the same dedicated support throughout the lifecycle of their activity.

Make donations, or provide support to Teens Unite, examples can include:
  • Donate tickets to an event – even at short notice these can be passed on to our teens
  • Donate auction, or raffle prizes
  • Provide gifts in kind i.e. good and services relevant to your business
  • Provide pro bono work i.e. professional services relevant to your business
  • Make financial donations, or fund match for monies raised by your staff
  • Inform Teens Unite of company grant / fund application schemes
  • Introduce Teens Unite to company and professional networks
