Families came together to support Teens Unite on 25th June as 160 children participated in the Junior Warrior Race; a muddy obstacle course for those aged 4-13.
Held at EDGE Outdoor Activities, Ware the event raised a staggering £3,027 profit, which will support our work in uniting and rebuilding the lives of young people aged 13-24 who have been diagnosed with cancer.
This was the first year Teens Unite has organised the Junior Warrior Race and it proved a knockout success, with spaces selling out in advance of the event.
We are overwhelmed by the number of families who supported Teens Unite at the Junior Warrior Race. The event was an opportunity for children to take on a challenge of their own and make a difference to others.
The atmosphere on the day was incredible, with families cheering their children on and really getting behind our cause. We would like to thank all of the warriors who took part in the even and all of the volunteers who helped on the day; the money raised will enable us to reach out to more young people overcoming cancer through the workshops and activities we organise.
